Gillenbeuren region and surrounds

What could be better,
than having a summer breakfast on the terrace, surrounded by lush greenery, and looking out over the glistening water of a luxurious swimming pool? Or gazing at a crackling fire over a glass of red wine in comfy surrounds, while the winter wind whistles through the trees outside? Or how about a nap in the wellness oasis after a sauna session?
You can experience all of that here. Leave your everyday stresses behind, get back to basics, and recharge the batteries in a natural, exclusive setting in the middle of the Vulkaneifel!

Gillenbeuren
lis located in the Ulmen association of municipalities in the Eifel region, and simultaneously also in the district of Cochem-Zell. The central location gives our guests fast access to the tranquil volcanic lakes, the Eifel maars, and the lively and popular Moselle. Hiking trails invite you to explore the area’s rolling hills, which feature forests, meadows and fields. The official bike track from the Nürburgring to the Moselle passes through the town, and encourages you to “join in”. You are welcome to park your bikes in the holiday home’s lockable bike room.

Gillenbeuren, situated in the Ulmen association of municipalities, lies at the heart of the “Gesundland Vulkaneifel”, which offers its guests a wide range of recreational options. The town is a popular place for artists. It is particularly worth visiting nearby Bad Bertrich, whose new hot springs and varied wellness, exercise and cultural services focus on helping guests maintain good health.

The picturesque Moselle town of Cochem, with its golf course, is max. 20 min away, as is the Eifel town of Daun. The Nürburgring is max. 30 minutes from Gillenbeuren, while Koblenz and Trier are max. 50 minutes away. You can access highway A48 in less than 10 minutes.

You can do your shopping at the neighbouring towns of Lutzerath, Alflen and of course Ulmen, where there are bakeries, butcher’s shops, restaurants, cafés and supermarkets.
